I started Yoga practice at the age of 18, learning from the Kaivalyadham Institute in Bombay in my student days. I began to teach in Austria at the age of 22, taking my content from various other sources including Sivananda, Elisabeth Haich, the Bihar School of Yoga, Astanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.

Today, I take my inspiration from Sahaja Yoga for its meta-view. My goal is individualised and harmonising practice suited to each student’s unique potential and circumstances. This is to be understood on the physical, mental and spiritual levels. Yoga is not a religion but a path for individual development that runs from personal well-being to self-realization. We are all invited to take this journey as far as we desire.
My students were always varied and this kept me open for new influences to provide individual and appropriate practice for each particular need and capability.
Every human being is a unique universe of possibilities to be explored and developed. I respect and respond to this potential in my teaching. While I expect my students to be disciplined in and committed to their spiritual endeavour, I enjoy sharing the ways of Yoga with lively and sensitive people. Let’s focus on experiencing spirit, breath and body in their underlying oneness.
You are welcome.
